Pathways to University
Date: 30th June - 3rd July 2015
Time: Tuesday at 12.00pm - Friday at 1.00pm
Venue: University of Ulster, Jordanstown
These residential schemes allow young people to stay in the Halls of Residence in the University of Ulster while gaining an insight into university life. The aim of the scheme is to raise young people’s awareness of university and encourage them to apply in the future.
During their stay there will be a range of activities to give young people an opportunity to learn about university and gather information to enable them to make informed decisions in the future. Young people will experience student living by staying in the halls of residence where they will be responsible for their own budgeting and cooking for the four days, and see the social aspect of university with activities such as bowling, tag lazer and a cinema visit.
This programme is for young people who will be aged 15 to 17 at the time of the scheme.
